Rain Bird PVC valve fitting 1348-010 - End cap - 1-inch F

End cap for Rain Bird valve manifolds

The Rain Bird RB1348-010 is a PVC end cap with a 1-inch female thread for the modular Rain Bird manifold system. It is used to securely close an unused connection at the end of an irrigation valve manifold.

The end cap is ideal for valve assemblies installed inside valve boxes. Because the connection remains removable, the closed manifold can also be expanded later if another irrigation zone is required.

Ideal for future system expansion

The RB1348-010 allows an unused Rain Bird manifold connection to be closed while keeping the option of expanding the irrigation system in the future.

If another irrigation valve is required later, the end cap can be removed and the modular manifold system can be extended with compatible components.

Easy installation with 1-inch female thread

The end cap has a 1-inch female thread and is designed for easy integration into the Rain Bird PVC manifold system. The system components are designed for quick installation and can be hand tightened.

Large O-rings are used throughout the Rain Bird manifold system to provide reliable connections. No additional Teflon tape is required on the designated O-ring-sealed system connections.

Part of the modular Rain Bird manifold system

The RB1348-010 belongs to the Rain Bird RB1300 Series and complements the various manifolds, tees, elbows and couplings available for the PVC manifold system.

The modular design keeps the individual components removable, making future maintenance, modifications and expansion of the irrigation system easier.

Frequently asked questions about the Rain Bird RB1348-010

What is the RB1348-010 used for?

The end cap is used to close an unused 1-inch connection in the Rain Bird PVC manifold system. It is particularly useful at the end of a valve manifold when no additional irrigation zone is currently required.

Which thread does the end cap have?

The Rain Bird RB1348-010 has a 1-inch female thread.

Can the connection be used again later?

Yes. The end cap can be removed again, allowing the manifold to be expanded later if another irrigation valve or watering zone is required.

Can the end cap be used inside a valve box?

Yes. The RB1348-010 is well suited for completing Rain Bird valve manifold assemblies installed inside valve boxes.

What is the maximum operating pressure?

Rain Bird specifies a maximum operating pressure of 10.5 bar for the PVC manifold system.
