Rain Bird valve manifolds
Rain Bird valve manifolds provide a compact way to install multiple solenoid valves in an irrigation system. Suitable manifold sections, connections and end fittings allow several irrigation zones to be organised clearly and installed together inside a valve box.

Rain Bird manifolds for solenoid valves
A Rain Bird valve manifold allows several solenoid valves to be connected to a common water supply. Each valve can then supply a separate irrigation zone, such as pop-up rotors, pop-up sprays, dripline or micro irrigation.
The modular arrangement makes it easier to plan an automatic irrigation system. Depending on the number of required zones, suitable manifold sections and connection components can be combined to create a clear central valve assembly.
Connect multiple solenoid valves
Rain Bird valve manifolds are particularly useful when two, three or more solenoid valves need to be installed next to each other. Suitable manifold components create a compact arrangement and can simplify installation compared with building the complete assembly from numerous individual pipe fittings.
Check the thread sizes of both the valves and manifold components when planning the installation. Suitable fittings, reducers and end caps can be used to adapt the assembly to the valves and irrigation pipework.
Install the manifold inside a valve box
Valve manifolds are commonly installed together with the solenoid valves inside a valve box. This protects valves, solenoids and connections while keeping them accessible from above for inspection and maintenance. The individual irrigation zones can then be connected to PE pipes.
Allow enough space around the components when planning the valve box. This makes individual valves easier to service or replace and keeps the pipework organised. A well planned manifold can also make future extensions easier.
Build your irrigation zones yourself
The manifold supplies water to the individual solenoid valves, while an irrigation controller opens the valve assigned to the required zone. Depending on the system, this can include 24 V valves with a mains-powered controller or compatible 9 V valves with battery-powered control.
Check the specified flow direction of each valve and seal threaded connections correctly where required. Once assembled, test the complete manifold under water pressure for leaks before finishing the installation.
