16 mm fittings for dripline
With 16 mm dripline fittings, you can connect, branch and route the pipes of your drip irrigation system to suit the shape of your beds and planted areas. The fittings are designed for compatible 16 mm dripline and irrigation pipes, making it easy to build your system without complicated installation work.
Whether you are installing new drip irrigation for beds and hedges or expanding an existing system, suitable fittings allow you to create an individual pipe layout. Always make sure that the pipe and fitting are compatible in terms of outside diameter and connection type.
Connectors, elbows and tees
Straight connectors are used to join two sections of 16 mm dripline or extend an existing line. Elbows allow you to route the pipe around corners, while tee fittings create branches for supplying several rows of plants or different sections of a garden bed.
This makes it easy to create several drip lines from a supply pipe and adapt your irrigation system to different garden layouts. For larger systems, also consider the available water flow, operating pressure and recommended maximum line lengths of the selected dripline.
Adapters and end fittings for 16 mm pipe
In addition to connectors and branches, suitable adapters are required to connect 16 mm dripline to the water supply, filter or pressure regulator. Depending on your irrigation system, different adapters and threaded connections can be used to integrate the dripline into your garden irrigation system.
The end of each drip line needs to be closed with a suitable end fitting. Some systems also use removable end closures that allow the pipe to be opened and flushed when required. This makes regular maintenance easier and helps remove deposits from the dripline.
Install 16 mm drip irrigation yourself
Installing 16 mm fittings is straightforward. Cut the dripline cleanly and squarely to the required length, then install the appropriate fitting according to its design. Elbows, tees and end fittings can be included during initial planning or added later when expanding the system.
With 16 mm dripline, suitable fittings, a filter and a pressure regulator where required, you can install your own drip irrigation system. After assembly, operate the system and check all connections for leaks. This gives you reliable irrigation for beds, hedges and other planted areas.
