Solenoid valves for residential gardens
Solenoid valves for residential gardens are the ideal foundation for your automatic garden irrigation system. They open and close the water supply to individual irrigation zones, allowing you to irrigate lawns, garden beds, hedges and other areas independently. With a suitable irrigation controller, you can easily determine when and for how long each valve opens.
With a little planning, you can also install the system yourself. Several solenoid valves can be neatly installed together in a valve box and connected to your irrigation pipes using suitable valve fittings. The solenoids are then connected to the irrigation controller using control cables. This allows you to build your automatic irrigation system step by step and easily expand it later.
Solenoid valves for sports fields
On sports fields and large green areas, solenoid valves often need to reliably control higher flow rates. The valves are combined with high-performance sprinklers and appropriately sized irrigation pipes. Depending on the system, multiple irrigation zones can be operated one after another to ensure that even large areas are watered evenly and reliably.
When choosing a valve, pay particular attention to the connection size, permitted operating pressure and maximum flow rate. The solenoid and irrigation controller must also be compatible with the valve. With a well-planned irrigation control system, you can automate the irrigation of large lawn areas and operate individual irrigation zones independently.
Solenoid valves for micro irrigation
Drip and micro irrigation systems can also be controlled automatically using solenoid valves. This allows you to operate garden beds, hedges, raised beds or other planted areas independently from your lawn irrigation. This is particularly useful because driplines, drippers and micro sprayers generally require different watering times and flow rates than pop-up rotors.
In these irrigation zones, filters and pressure regulators also play an important role alongside the solenoid valve. They help provide suitable operating conditions for drippers and micro sprayers. Using your irrigation controller, you can then determine when the corresponding zone starts and how long your plants are watered.
Flow-control solenoid valves
Flow-control solenoid valves give you an additional way to adjust the water flow directly at the valve. This can be useful when setting up and balancing different irrigation zones. Especially when different sprinklers or irrigation systems are used, you can adjust each zone more precisely to the requirements of your system.
Flow control does not replace careful planning of water pressure and available flow rate, but it gives you additional control when setting up your system. Combine the appropriate solenoid valve with valve fittings, a solenoid, control cables and a valve box. With a suitable irrigation controller, you can then control each irrigation zone automatically and independently.
