Pressure-regulated pop-up rotors
Pressure-regulated pop-up rotors provide controlled operating pressure directly at the sprinkler and support even lawn irrigation. They are particularly suitable for automatic systems where pressure, throw distance and reliable water distribution need to work together.

Pressure-regulated pop-up rotors for lawns
Pressure-regulated pop-up rotors combine the advantages of a conventional underground sprinkler with integrated pressure regulation. During irrigation, water pressure raises the rotor above ground level so it can water the planned lawn area. Once watering stops, it retracts back into the sprinkler body.
The integrated regulator reduces higher inlet pressure to the operating pressure specified for the particular model. This helps the rotor operate within its intended pressure range and allows the installed nozzle to distribute water more consistently across the lawn.
Controlled pressure directly at the rotor
Excessive water pressure can affect sprinkler performance and the irrigation pattern. Integrated pressure regulation helps reduce excessive pressure directly at the pop-up rotor. This can be particularly useful in irrigation systems with higher supply pressure or varying hydraulic conditions.
A pressure regulator cannot increase insufficient inlet pressure. The supply line must therefore provide enough pressure and water flow for the selected sprinklers. Always consider the technical specifications of the rotor and installed nozzles when planning your irrigation zones.
Plan throw distance and watering arc
Depending on the model, the watering arc and throw distance can be adapted to the shape of the lawn. Part-circle rotors are useful around corners, lawn edges, paths and beds, while full-circle rotors can water larger continuous areas in a complete circle.
Do not select sprinklers solely according to their maximum throw distance. Plan suitable overlap and consider water pressure, flow rate and nozzle selection. A carefully designed layout helps achieve more even coverage and reduces dry areas between individual sprinklers.
Install pressure-regulated pop-up rotors
Pressure-regulated rotors can be integrated into an underground irrigation system in much the same way as conventional pop-up rotors. PE pipes supply the water, while suitable sprinkler connections, flexible pipes or swing joints can make positioning and height adjustment easier.
Several rotors can be combined into irrigation zones controlled automatically by solenoid valves and an irrigation controller. With careful planning and compatible connections, you can build your own automatic lawn irrigation system and adjust the sprinklers to suit the shape of your lawn.
