12 mm push fittings for small pipes

12 mm PE push fittings are designed for compact pipework within smaller and more detailed garden irrigation systems. The small pipe size is particularly useful when individual planted areas require moderate amounts of water and larger pipe diameters are unnecessary.

A 12 mm pipe can be used as a smaller distribution line within a larger irrigation network. The required flow, pipe length and operating pressure should always be suitable for the components connected to the line.

Deliver water directly to planted areas

12 mm irrigation pipes can route water towards beds, raised beds, containers and other smaller planted areas. Depending on the system, additional connections can then supply drippers, micro nozzles or micro sprinklers.

This makes the pipe size useful for customised plant irrigation. A larger supply line can distribute water through the garden before smaller 12 mm pipe sections carry it towards individual areas.

Create branches with 12 mm fittings

Straight connectors extend the pipe, elbows provide compact changes in direction and tees split the water supply into several branches. This allows the irrigation layout to follow the position of plants and beds more precisely.

Compatibility is especially important with smaller pipe sizes. A nominal 12 mm size does not automatically mean that every pipe fits every push fitting. Check the outside diameter, pipe type and manufacturer specifications before ordering.

Build compact irrigation systems yourself

Cut the 12 mm pipe cleanly and squarely with a suitable cutting tool before assembly. It can then be inserted into the intended push fitting according to the installation instructions. A clean pipe end helps create a secure connection.

After installation, open the water supply gradually and inspect every joint. Depending on the drip or micro irrigation components being used, suitable filtration and pressure regulation may also be required for reliable operation.
