Easy installation with PE compression fittings
PE compression fittings provide a simple and reliable way to connect PE pipes in your irrigation system. You do not need complicated specialist tools, making it easy to install the pipes yourself. The fittings are suitable for main lines, individual irrigation zones and many other areas of your garden irrigation system.
For installation, it is best to cut the PE pipe cleanly and as straight as possible using a pipe cutter. The pipe is then inserted into the compression fitting according to its design and secured with the compression nut. Make sure that the pipe diameter matches the fitting. After installation, test the connection under water pressure to ensure that it is watertight.
Straight fittings, elbows and tees
Different compression fittings allow you to adapt the route of your PE pipes flexibly to the layout of your garden. Straight fittings are ideal for extending or repairing a pipe. Elbows allow you to change the direction of the pipe, while tees enable you to create branches to additional pipes or irrigation zones.
With just a few different components, you can create a complete pipe network for your automatic irrigation system. Before installation, plan where your pop-up rotors, valve boxes, solenoid valves and drip irrigation systems will be located. You can then cut the required PE pipes to length and install them step by step using suitable compression fittings.
Compression fittings with threaded connections
Compression fittings with female or male threads allow you to connect PE pipes to other components of your irrigation system. These connections are required, for example, for solenoid valves, filters, pressure regulators, sprinkler connections and other threaded components. This makes it easy to combine different parts of your irrigation system.
When purchasing fittings, pay attention to both the diameter of the PE pipe and the required thread size. Depending on the irrigation system, 1/2″, 3/4″ or 1″ threaded connections are commonly used. With the appropriate adapter, you can easily connect your pipes to existing components and expand your system later if required.
Suitable fittings for every pipe diameter
PE compression fittings are available for different pipe diameters. In garden irrigation systems, 20, 25 and 32 mm sizes are commonly used, while 40 or 50 mm sizes may be suitable for larger systems. It is important that the compression fitting and PE pipe have the same outside diameter and are suitable for the intended operating pressure.
With straight fittings, elbows, tees and threaded adapters, you can build almost the entire pipe network of your irrigation system yourself. If you want to expand or modify the system later, many compression fittings can be disconnected and reused. This keeps your garden irrigation system flexible and allows it to grow with your requirements.
