Pipe clips for irrigation systems
Pipe clips are practical fixing components for neatly installing pipes and lines in your irrigation system. They can be used to secure suitable PE pipes and other irrigation lines to walls and other appropriate surfaces, keeping the pipework reliably in the required position.
Suitable pipe clips are particularly useful for pipes installed above ground or routed along buildings and structures. Instead of leaving the pipework loose, you can guide it neatly along the planned route. This also makes later inspection, maintenance and extensions easier.
Secure PE pipes reliably
For reliable installation, the pipe clip should match the outside diameter of the PE pipe. A clip that is too large may not hold the pipe securely, while an unsuitable or excessively tight fixing could place unnecessary stress on the pipe. Always select the correct size for your pipework.
Several clips are normally installed at suitable intervals along the pipe. The appropriate spacing depends on factors such as pipe diameter, installation method and mounting surface. Additional support can also be useful near changes in direction or important connections.
Install irrigation pipes neatly
Pipe clips are especially useful where irrigation pipes are visible or installed above ground. This may include installation along a house wall, garden wall, technical area or inside a greenhouse. The pipework can therefore be routed neatly and remain easy to follow.
Together with PE pipe fittings, elbows, tees and threaded connections, pipe clips allow you to plan the route of your irrigation pipework according to your garden. Make sure fittings and connections are not placed under unnecessary tension and remain accessible for maintenance.
Install pipe clips yourself
Before installing the clips, plan the route of the irrigation pipe and mark the required fixing points. The clips can then be attached using suitable mounting hardware for the particular surface. The correct screws and wall plugs depend on the wall or other mounting material.
With suitable pipe clips and basic installation tools, you can secure your irrigation pipes yourself. Combined with pipe cutters, PE pipes and compatible fittings, they help create a neat installation that can be expanded or adapted later as your garden irrigation system changes.
