Rain Bird TSJ12 swing joint 30 cm sprinkler connection with 2 x 1-inch male threads
Tapping saddles for swing joints
With tapping saddles, you can create a connection for your pop-up rotor directly on the irrigation pipe. The saddle is installed at the required position on the pipe, after which you create the opening for the water connection. A suitable swing joint can then simply be screwed into place. This allows you to determine exactly where each sprinkler is connected.
Swing joints make installation particularly easy because they allow you to position the pop-up rotor flexibly and adjust it to the correct height. This is useful when the sprinkler should not be positioned directly above the irrigation pipe. With tapping saddles, swing joints and suitable threaded fittings, you can build your lawn irrigation system yourself step by step.
Flex pipe for pop-up sprinklers
With flex pipe, you can create a flexible connection between the irrigation pipe and the pop-up sprinkler. This means you are not restricted to a fixed connection when positioning the sprinkler. Different lengths of flex pipe allow you to create both short connections and longer runs to the required sprinkler position.
The flexible connection also makes it easier to align the pop-up sprinkler precisely with the lawn surface. Small deviations in the position of the irrigation pipe can easily be compensated for. Together with suitable fittings, you can install pop-up rotors and pop-up spray heads exactly where you need them for even lawn irrigation.
Compression fittings for secure connections
Compression fittings make it easy to build your underground irrigation system. With suitable couplings, elbows and tees, you can connect irrigation pipes, create branches and build the water supply to your sprinklers. Installation is straightforward and, with a little planning, can easily be carried out yourself.
When choosing your fittings, pay particular attention to the diameter of your irrigation pipe and the type of connection required. With the right PE pipe fittings, you can adapt the pipe layout individually to your garden. This also makes it easy to integrate solenoid valves, valve boxes and additional irrigation zones into your automatic garden irrigation system.
Accessories for adjustment and installation
With the right accessories, you can not only install your pop-up sprinklers but also adjust them to suit your lawn. Depending on the sprinkler model, adjustment tools allow you to set the irrigation arc, spray distance and other functions. This lets you adjust each sprinkler precisely to the area you want to irrigate.
You do not need complicated machinery to install your lawn irrigation system. With suitable tools, sprinkler connections, fittings and a little planning, you can carry out many of the installation tasks yourself. If you want to modify your system later, you can readjust the sprinklers, change connections or expand your irrigation system with additional pop-up sprinklers.
