Part-circle and full-circle pop-up rotors
With part-circle and full-circle pop-up rotors, you can adapt your lawn irrigation precisely to the shape of your garden. Part-circle rotors water an adjustable area and are ideal for lawn edges, corners and areas alongside paths or patios. Full-circle rotors distribute water all around the sprinkler and are particularly suitable for larger, continuous lawn areas.
When planning your system, simply choose the most suitable type of rotor based on its position. A full-circle rotor is often a good choice for the centre of a lawn, while part-circle rotors are ideal around the edges. With suitable sprinkler connections, irrigation pipes and fittings, you can install the pop-up rotors yourself. Pay attention to the spray distance, water pressure and sufficient overlap between the irrigation areas.
Pop-up rotors for reclaimed water
Pop-up rotors for reclaimed water are suitable for irrigation systems that are not operated exclusively with drinking water. If you use suitable well water or another non-potable water source for garden irrigation, you should select your rotors and other components according to the available water quality.
Proper filtration is particularly important when the water may contain dirt or other particles. Filters, pressure regulators and suitable solenoid valves help keep your irrigation system operating reliably. This allows you to plan your own lawn irrigation system using an alternative water supply and configure the individual irrigation zones to suit your garden.
Pop-up rotors with check valve
Pop-up rotors with check valve help prevent water remaining in the pipes and sprinklers from draining uncontrollably through sprinklers located at lower points after the irrigation system has been switched off. This is particularly useful for lawns on slopes. It helps keep paths and lower areas of the garden drier while reducing unnecessary water loss.
On level ground, this feature is not always necessary, but it can offer a significant advantage where there are differences in elevation. Plan your sprinkler layout according to the terrain, spray distance and required irrigation area. Combined with sprinkler connections, solenoid valves, irrigation controllers and rain sensors, you can build a convenient automatic lawn irrigation system step by step.
Pop-up rotors with individual flow shut-off
Individually shut-off pop-up rotors give you additional control over your irrigation system. Individual rotors can be shut off directly without having to deactivate the entire irrigation zone. This is useful for maintenance, changes to your garden or when a particular area temporarily does not need to be watered.
This feature makes your lawn irrigation system particularly flexible and simplifies future adjustments. You can initially install the system to suit your current lawn and modify or expand it later. With irrigation pipes, sprinkler connections, valve boxes and a suitable irrigation controller, you can create a system that is easy to install and maintain yourself.
