PE pipes for irrigation systems
PE pipes provide a reliable foundation for many permanently installed irrigation systems. The pipes transport water from the water supply to solenoid valves, pop-up rotors, pop-up spray heads and other irrigation zones. PE pipes are flexible, making them easy to adapt to the layout of your garden.
With a little planning, you can easily install the pipes yourself. First decide where the main pipes and individual irrigation zones should run. Then cut the pipes to the required length and connect them using suitable fittings. This allows you to build your lawn irrigation or garden irrigation system step by step and easily expand it later.
Easy installation with PE compression fittings
With PE compression fittings, you can connect, extend and branch your irrigation pipes. Straight fittings connect two sections of pipe, elbows allow changes in direction and tees help you create additional pipe branches. Suitable compression fittings can also be used to connect PE pipes to components with different thread sizes.
Installation is straightforward and ideal for building your own irrigation system. When choosing fittings, pay attention to the diameter of your PE pipe and the required connection type. Compression fittings allow you to route pipes to valve boxes, solenoid valves and sprinkler connections and adapt your pipe system precisely to the layout of your garden.
Push-fit fittings for quick installation
Depending on the pipe system, push-fit fittings provide a particularly quick way to connect your irrigation pipes. The pipe is prepared accordingly and inserted into the designated fitting. This allows you to connect individual pipe sections without complicated installation and quickly build your garden irrigation system.
Whether push-fit fittings or compression fittings are better suited to your irrigation system depends on the type of pipe and the intended application. It is important to ensure that the pipe and fittings are technically compatible. With suitable fittings, you can easily create branches to pop-up rotors, drip irrigation systems or additional irrigation zones yourself.
Threaded fittings for secure connections
Threaded fittings are required wherever your PE pipes need to be connected to components with threaded connections. These include solenoid valves, filters, pressure regulators, manifolds and various sprinkler connections. Different thread sizes and connection types are available depending on the component.
Plan your connections so that important components remain easily accessible for future maintenance. Suitable fittings make maintenance and replacement easier, especially for solenoid valves installed in a valve box. Together with PE pipes, compression fittings and push-fit fittings, you can create a well-organised pipe system and install your complete irrigation system yourself.
