A stand is a practical addition to an impact sprinkler when you want to irrigate larger garden areas flexibly. The sprinkler is positioned at an elevated height and can be used at different locations throughout the garden. This provides a mobile alternative when a permanently installed sprinkler position is not required.

Sprinkler stands are particularly useful for larger lawns, beds and newly planted garden areas. After watering one section, the stand and impact sprinkler can simply be moved to another position. This allows a single sprinkler to cover several areas of the garden one after another.

Position impact sprinklers at an elevated height

The elevated position can help the water stream pass over plants and smaller obstacles. This can be useful when watering beds or areas with taller vegetation. The actual watering radius depends on the selected sprinkler, available water pressure, flow rate and sprinkler settings.

Place the stand on a surface that is as level and stable as possible. It should remain secure while the sprinkler is operating and must be suitable for the size and weight of the selected impact sprinkler. Also check that the sprinkler connection and thread are compatible with the stand.

Water lawns and beds flexibly

A mobile stand allows you to position your impact sprinkler wherever water is currently required. On larger lawns, the sprinkler can be moved between several positions to cover the complete area. Depending on the sprinkler, watering can be configured for a full circle or a selected sector.

The elevated sprinkler position can also be useful for vegetable beds, planted areas and other larger sections of the garden. When planning the watering positions, aim for sensible coverage and avoid unnecessarily watering paths, buildings or other areas outside the intended irrigation zone.

Connect a sprinkler stand easily

Depending on its design, the stand can be connected to the water supply or a garden hose using a suitable connection. The impact sprinkler is mounted on the connection provided on the stand. Check the required threads, adapters and connectors to ensure that all components fit together correctly.

Once assembled, open the water supply and check the watering pattern. The arc and radius can then be adjusted according to the functions of the selected impact sprinkler. With a suitable stand, sprinkler and connections, you can create a simple and flexible garden irrigation solution yourself.
