Pressure gauges for irrigation systems
With a pressure gauge, you can easily check the water pressure in your irrigation system. The available pressure is an important factor when planning and reliably operating pop-up rotors, spray nozzles, drip irrigation and other components. Measuring the pressure helps you determine whether the available water supply is suitable for your planned irrigation system.
A pressure gauge is also a useful tool for troubleshooting. If sprinklers no longer achieve the required throw distance or individual areas are not being irrigated properly, measuring the pressure can provide valuable information. Together with the available flow rate, this allows you to better assess the conditions for your irrigation system.
Sprinkler stands for flexible garden irrigation
With a sprinkler stand, you can position suitable sprinklers wherever water is currently needed. Circular sprinklers and impact sprinklers in particular can be positioned securely on a suitable stand. This allows you to irrigate larger lawns, garden beds or other areas without having to install a permanent lawn irrigation system.
A sprinkler stand also gives you greater flexibility when positioning the sprinkler and adjusting its height. After watering, you can simply move the sprinkler to another location or put it away. Sprinkler stands are therefore a practical solution for temporary irrigation or as an addition to an existing automatic irrigation system.
Compressed air fittings for winterisation
A compressed air fitting helps you prepare a suitable irrigation system for winter. Compressed air can be introduced into the system in a controlled manner to remove water from pipes, sprinklers and other components that may be exposed to freezing temperatures. This helps reduce the risk of frost damage caused by water remaining in the system.
When blowing out your irrigation system, always follow the manufacturer's instructions and observe the maximum permitted pressures of the installed components. Excessive air pressure can damage parts of the system. Open the irrigation zones in a controlled manner and proceed carefully when preparing your system for winter. This allows you to properly prepare your garden irrigation system for the colder months.
Applying fertilizer through your irrigation system
With suitable fertilizer or dosing pumps, suitable nutrient solutions can be introduced into the irrigation water in a controlled manner. This is particularly useful for drip irrigation systems, vegetable beds, greenhouses and larger planted areas. Water and suitable nutrients can therefore be distributed through the existing irrigation system.
The appropriate pump and fertilizer depend on the specific irrigation system and intended application. Always follow the manufacturer's specifications and make sure that the products are compatible with your pipes, drippers and other components. With the right accessories, you can expand your irrigation system and use it even more effectively for maintaining and caring for your plants.
