Pop-up rotors with flow shut-off
Pop-up rotors with flow shut-off allow you to deactivate an individual sprinkler without shutting down the entire irrigation zone. This lets the remaining pop-up rotors continue watering while one sprinkler is switched off when needed.

Shut off individual pop-up rotors
Pop-up rotors with flow shut-off give you the practical option of deactivating an individual sprinkler within an irrigation zone. The other pop-up rotors in the same zone can continue operating. This is particularly useful when your garden changes or a specific area temporarily no longer needs irrigation.
You do not have to shut down the entire irrigation zone at the solenoid valve. Depending on the rotor model, the water flow can be shut off directly at the sprinkler. This keeps your lawn irrigation flexible and allows individual rotors to be taken out of operation without changing the complete installation.
Practical when your garden changes
Gardens often change over time. A lawn may become smaller, a new flower bed may be added, a patio may be extended or another area may be redesigned. If a pop-up rotor is already installed there, a model with integrated flow shut-off can simply be deactivated while the remaining sprinklers continue to operate.
The function can also be useful for temporary changes. If a particular area does not need watering for a period of time, you can shut off the corresponding rotor and activate it again later. There is no need to modify the PE pipework or completely remove the sprinkler from your irrigation system.
Useful for maintenance and troubleshooting
Individual flow shut-off can also make maintenance easier. If you want to inspect a particular rotor or temporarily take it out of operation, you can shut it off while the other sprinklers in the irrigation zone remain available. The rest of the lawn can therefore continue to be irrigated as usual.
The ability to shut off individual sprinklers is also useful when troubleshooting your irrigation system. Specific rotors can be taken out of operation and activated again when required. This provides additional flexibility, especially in larger lawn irrigation systems with several pop-up rotors.
Plan a flexible lawn irrigation system
When planning your system, choose pop-up rotors according to the size and shape of your lawn. Part-circle rotors are ideal for corners and edges, while full-circle rotors can cover suitable areas within the lawn. Models with flow shut-off provide additional flexibility if individual sprinklers need to be deactivated later.
Connect the pop-up rotors to your PE pipework using suitable sprinkler connections. Solenoid valves control the individual irrigation zones, while an irrigation controller manages the watering schedules. With individually shut-off rotors, your system remains flexible and can be adapted more easily when your garden changes.
