17 mm fittings for dripline
17 mm dripline fittings allow you to connect, extend and branch the pipes in your drip irrigation system. Straight connectors, elbows, tees and other fitting types provide flexible installation options for beds, hedges and planted areas throughout the garden.
The fittings are compatible with Rain Bird XF and XFS dripline ranges as well as most polyethylene drip pipes with a 17 mm outside diameter. For dripline from other manufacturers, always check the actual pipe dimensions and compatibility with the selected fitting before installation.
Compatible with Rain Bird XF and XFS
Rain Bird XF and XFS dripline is designed for efficient and even irrigation of planted areas. Suitable 17 mm fittings allow you to extend the dripline, change direction or create additional pipe sections for different parts of your garden irrigation system.
This makes it easy to adapt the dripline layout to hedges, beds, shrubs and other planted areas. Existing systems can also be extended or rearranged with suitable connectors when the layout of your garden changes.
Use connectors, elbows and tees
Straight connectors join or extend sections of dripline. 90 degree elbows allow the pipe to follow corners, while tees divide one line into two separate routes. Suitable end fittings provide a controlled termination for the dripline system.
Compatible adapters can also connect 17 mm dripline to the water supply, filters or pressure regulators. Effective filtration helps protect the emitters from contamination, while suitable pressure regulation supports the operating pressure specified for the dripline.
Install 17 mm dripline yourself
Cut the dripline cleanly and as squarely as possible using a suitable pipe cutter. Install the 17 mm fitting according to its design and make sure the pipe is fully and securely seated before operating the irrigation system.
After installation, fill the system with water and check every connection for leaks. Suitable 17 mm fittings make it easy to install and extend Rain Bird XF and XFS dripline as well as many other compatible PE drip pipes yourself.
