The recommended pressure range of the connected drippers, micro-sprays or other irrigation components should always be checked before selecting a regulator. PSI-M models with a lower preset outlet pressure are more appropriate for systems with lower pressure requirements.

Factory preset and ready for operation

The PSI-M-50 requires no manual pressure adjustment. Its outlet pressure is factory preset to 50 psi. Once correctly installed, the internal diaphragm automatically regulates the downstream water pressure.

Because the operating principle is entirely mechanical, no electrical supply, battery or irrigation controller is required. The fixed pressure setting also reduces the risk of the intended outlet pressure being accidentally changed later.

¾" female connections on both sides

The Rain Bird PSI-M-50 features a ¾" female threaded connection at both the inlet and outlet. Suitable threaded fittings can therefore be used to integrate the regulator into the supply line of an irrigation zone.

The regulator is installed upstream of the components requiring reduced pressure. The specified direction of water flow through the regulator must be observed. Depending on the irrigation system layout, the M Series can be installed above or below ground.
