Rain Bird R-VAN-SST for long narrow lawn areas
The Rain Bird R-VAN-SST is specifically designed for long and narrow lawn areas. Its Side Strip pattern covers approximately 1.5 × 9.1 m at the recommended operating pressure, making it ideal for grass strips alongside driveways, paths, property boundaries, patios and buildings.
Multiple rotating streams distribute larger water droplets along the narrow irrigation area. The low precipitation rate gives the soil more time to absorb the water and helps reduce runoff and erosion while providing efficient coverage.

Designed for long strip irrigation
Unlike the R-VAN-LCS and R-VAN-RCS corner strip models, the R-VAN-SST is designed to irrigate a long strip from the side. Its pattern extends in both directions along the lawn, allowing one nozzle to cover a strip approximately 9.1 m long.
Compatibility
The R-VAN-SST is compatible with Rain Bird spray bodies, risers and adapters. For optimum performance, Rain Bird recommends 1800 or RD1800 spray bodies with 3.1 bar pressure regulation. A PRS45 spray body is therefore an ideal combination for this rotary nozzle.
